Nooks Pricing and Parallel Dialers Explained

Nooks does not publish its pricing. As of October 2, 2026 its pricing page asks for a custom quote, based on which products you take: AI Dialer, AI Sequencing, Signals, AI Coaching and contact data. Its parallel dialer calls 2 to 5 prospects at once, and Turbo mode averages about 6 lines.

How much does Nooks cost?

Nooks does not publish its prices. When we checked its pricing page on October 2, 2026, it read "Get Nooks pricing" and asked visitors to get in touch for a custom quote. No plan names, per-seat prices, seat minimums or free tier were listed.

What the page does show is the scope you are being quoted for. Nooks lists five product areas: AI Dialer, AI Sequencing, Signals and Intelligence, AI Coaching, and Contact Data Enrichment, plus an optional data package. Its help centre also mentions that some dialing modes need a specific Parallel Dialing seat. Expect your quote to depend on which of those you take and how many reps will dial.

That is common in this category. Orum, Kixie and Koncert also did not publish prices on October 2, 2026. If you need a number for budgeting, ask each vendor for a quote on the same scope: seat count, dialing mode, data and contract length.

What is a parallel dialer, and how does it work?

A parallel dialer calls several prospects at the same time and connects the rep only when a real person answers. Nooks' help centre describes its parallel mode as calling between 2 and 5 prospects at once, with voicemails skipped automatically, and says its Turbo mode averages approximately 6 lines.

The benefit is less time spent listening to rings and voicemail greetings. Nooks gives directional figures of about 40 to 60 dials an hour in power mode, where one prospect is called at a time, against about 80 to 120 in parallel mode.

The trade-off is what happens when two people pick up. Orum says it detects who answered first and cancels the other call, so that person just sees a missed call. Nooks notes that using more lines increases the chance it has to cancel calls when a prospect answers. Those cancelled calls are the reason the compliance rules below matter.

Most parallel dialers are quote-only. The table shows what each vendor listed on its own site on October 2, 2026. Aircall is included as a common power-dialer option, not a parallel one.

What connect rate should you expect from cold calling?

There is no independent benchmark, only vendor and agency data, so read these as directional. Gong's analysis of more than 300M cold calls found the average rep connects with 5.4% of prospects, while top-quartile reps connect with 13.3%. Gong defines connect rate as calls answered by a prospect divided by total dials.

Belkins, an outbound agency, published data from more than 175,000 dials logged in 2025 on its own Nooks setup. It reported a per-dial connect rate of 9.9%, with 24.5% of unique prospects connecting at least once, and roughly 370 dials to book one meeting. Belkins counts a gatekeeper answering as a connect.

Gong also found that cold calling nearly doubles the email reply rate, 3.44% against 1.81%, even when the call does not connect live. That is a good argument for running calls and email together rather than choosing one channel.

The bigger lever is usually the list, not the dialer. Wrong numbers, landlines that route to a front desk and numbers dialled too often all drag connect rates down. A parallel dialer makes a good list faster to work; it does not fix a bad one.

Which calling rules apply to B2B dialers?

This is general information, not legal advice. Have counsel review your calling setup.

The abandoned-call rule is the one parallel dialers bump into. Under the FCC's rule at 47 CFR 64.1200(a)(7), a call is abandoned if it is not connected to a live sales representative within two seconds of the called person's completed greeting, and abandonment must stay at or below 3% of calls answered live, measured over 30 days per campaign. The FTC's Telemarketing Sales Rule uses the same two-second definition but exempts most business-to-business calls; the FCC's rule text has no equivalent carve-out.

Do Not Call rules mostly protect consumers. The FTC says most calls to a business made to solicit sales from that business are exempt from the Do Not Call provisions. The catch in B2B is mobile numbers: the FCC's Do Not Call rules extend to wireless numbers, so a prospect's personal mobile may be registered.

AI voices are a separate matter. In February 2024 the FCC confirmed that AI-generated voices count as an artificial voice under the TCPA, so calls that use them need the called party's prior express consent, or prior express written consent for telemarketing. A dialer that connects a live human rep is different from an AI voice agent that speaks to the prospect.

Should you buy a dialer or have calling run for you?

Buy a dialer if you already have reps who call daily, a clean list with direct numbers, and someone to watch number reputation and compliance. Parallel dialing pays off when reps spend most of their day on the phone.

If you do not have that team yet, the dialer is the smallest part of the problem. Trexinet runs outbound calling as part of a managed program: AI builds and enriches the lists, verifies them before anyone dials, drafts the talk tracks and follow-up emails, and AI and human callers book the meetings. A person approves every message that goes out.

Frequently asked questions

Does Nooks have a free trial?

Nooks does not list a free trial or free plan on its pricing page as of October 2, 2026; it asks you to request a custom quote. Some alternatives do list trials: Kixie offers a 7-day free trial and Orum a free trial limited to 500 dials.

Is Nooks an AI SDR?

Nooks describes itself as a revenue agent platform, with an AI dialer, AI sequencing, signals, coaching and contact data. Its dialer connects your human reps to live conversations faster. It does not describe the dialer as replacing reps, so think of it as tooling for a calling team.

What is the difference between a power dialer and a parallel dialer?

A power dialer calls one prospect at a time and connects the rep to every call. A parallel dialer calls several prospects at once and connects the rep only when a person answers, skipping voicemail. Parallel dialing raises dial volume but needs care with abandoned calls.

Are parallel dialers legal?

They are widely used, but the rules on abandoned calls, autodialers, Do Not Call and AI voices still apply, and B2B exemptions are narrower than many teams assume, especially for mobile numbers. This is not legal advice; have counsel review your setup and the states you call.

How many dials does it take to book a meeting?

It varies widely with the list and the offer. Belkins, an outbound agency, reported roughly 370 dials per booked meeting across its 2025 calling data. Treat that as one agency's result, not a benchmark, and track your own dials, connects and meetings from the first week.
