RB2B Pricing and Website Visitor ID Explained

As listed on RB2B's pricing page on October 2, 2026, RB2B has a free company-level plan, Starter at $79 a month for 300 resolutions, Pro from $149 a month and Pro+ from $199 a month for 600 resolutions. Person-level identification is US-only. No annual price is published.

How much does RB2B cost?

As listed on RB2B's pricing page on October 2, 2026, all prices are shown per month and no annual price is published. The free plan is $0 and gives company-level identification for 150 resolutions a month, pushed to Slack, with no person-level data, emails or other integrations.

Starter is $79 a month for 300 resolutions. It sends LinkedIn profile URLs to Slack or Teams, but no email addresses and no other integrations. Pro starts at $149 a month for 600 resolutions, rising to $249 for 1,250 and $349 for 2,500, and adds business email addresses and all other integrations. Pro+ starts at $199 a month for 600 resolutions and adds what RB2B calls Premium Resolution, a waterfall of external data sources on top of its own graph. Pro+ tiers rise to $849 for 12,500 resolutions, and volumes of 20,000 and above show Contact Us.

RB2B lists overage at 45c per resolution on Starter and 25c on Pro and Pro+. Extra domains are $99 a month for up to five on Pro and Pro+. There is a 7-day full-featured trial with no credit card.

What is a resolution, and what drives the bill?

A resolution is one identified visitor. Your bill is driven by how much of your traffic RB2B can match, not by how many people visit. A busy blog with lots of non-buyers can burn through resolutions on people you would never contact, so it pays to use RB2B's exclusion and filtering features to focus on the pages and companies that matter.

RB2B's support documentation also notes that company-level identifications consume credits, and that company-level tracking of US traffic cannot be switched off. If you only want person-level leads, factor that into which tier you pick.

What does RB2B actually identify?

RB2B works at two levels. Person-level identification is, in RB2B's words, "a US-only technology with a US-only database." It returns a name and LinkedIn profile, and on Pro and Pro+ a business email. Company-level identification runs through RB2B's partnership with Demandbase and works globally, but it only tells you the company, not the person.

On how it works, RB2B says it identifies visitors who are "known and have been previously identified through our expansive, fully-permissioned publisher network," using "a combination of 1st and 3rd party cookies, device IDs, and IP addresses." You install a script in your site header and connect Slack, Teams or your CRM. RB2B states it connects to 50+ apps, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay, Instantly and HeyReach.

How accurate is website visitor identification?

Treat every match rate as a vendor claim. RB2B's homepage says it can identify 70-80% of website traffic. Its pricing page lists contact-level coverage of 15-20% on Starter and Pro and 35-45% on Pro+, while a support article says person-level identification resolves 40-45% of US traffic. None of these figures comes with a published method.

Leadfeeder, a company-level competitor, makes the honest point in its help centre: rates "vary greatly" by website, traffic and industry, and "there is no way to honestly give a percentage of visitors identified." Several things lower real-world rates. Visitors on home internet, mobile networks or public Wi-Fi often show up only as their internet provider. Apple's iCloud Private Relay gives Safari users a temporary IP address. And RB2B itself warns that shared work accounts and household devices can produce mismatches, where someone is identified who never visited.

The practical test is simple: run the trial on your own traffic and count how many identified visitors fit your customer profile.

Is RB2B GDPR compliant?

RB2B's position is that person-level identification is US-only, so GDPR does not apply to it, and that you must use a consent management tool if you turn on global company-level identification. Its support docs add that "RB2B does not enforce consent on your behalf."

The regulators frame it more broadly. GDPR Recital 30 names IP addresses and cookie identifiers as online identifiers that can identify people, and Article 3(2) says GDPR can apply to companies outside the EU that monitor the behaviour of people in the EU. The UK ICO says tracking pixels and fingerprinting need prior consent unless an exception applies. If you have EU or UK traffic, get privacy advice before installing any visitor identification script. RB2B's own GDPR page ends by saying it is not legal advice.

What are the best RB2B alternatives?

Alternatives split into company-level tools, which tell you which business visited, and person-level or ABM platforms. The table shows the starting price each vendor listed on October 2, 2026. Koala, once a common pick, announced it was acquired by Cursor and shutting down on September 30, so we left it out.

What should you do with an identified visitor?

Treat it as a signal, not a lead. Someone who read your pricing page has shown interest; they have not asked to be emailed. The visitors worth acting on are the ones that match your customer profile and viewed high-intent pages.

Route those into a short, relevant sequence that references the problem your page solves, not the fact that you saw them visit. Verify every email before sending, keep the volume low, and have a person approve each message. In our own campaigns, list verification and bounce suppression cut the hard bounce rate from 11.17% to 0.43%, and identified-visitor lists need the same checks as any other list.

Trexinet runs this as part of a managed outbound program: signals, verified lists, sequences, reply triage and CRM sync, with AI doing the research and drafting and a person approving every send.

Frequently asked questions

Does RB2B have a free plan?

Yes. As listed on RB2B's site on October 2, 2026, after a 7-day full-featured trial the free plan keeps company-level identification for 150 resolutions a month, pushed to Slack. Person-level identification starts on the Starter plan at $79 a month for 300 resolutions.

Does RB2B work outside the US?

Only partly. RB2B says its person-level identification is US-only, built on a US-only database. Company-level identification, through its partnership with Demandbase, works globally, but RB2B says you must use a consent management tool for it if you have EU or UK visitors.

What is the difference between RB2B Pro and Pro+?

Pro uses RB2B's own identity graph. Pro+ adds Premium Resolution, which layers external data sources on top to raise match coverage, according to RB2B. Both include business emails and all integrations. Pro starts at $149 a month and Pro+ at $199 a month for 600 resolutions.

Is website visitor identification legal?

It depends on where your visitors are and what you collect. In the EU and UK, IP addresses and cookie identifiers can be personal data, and the UK ICO says tracking pixels need prior consent unless an exception applies. Get privacy advice for your traffic before installing any identification script.

How many website visitors can RB2B identify?

RB2B's own figures range from 15-20% contact-level coverage on its entry plans to a 70-80% total identification claim for US traffic, without a published method. Your real rate depends on your audience, so run the free trial on your own traffic before you commit.
